I’m Karina and I’m not very good at being subtle.
I’ve always had a hard time pretending to be something I’m not, which has been both a problem and the reason I built this business in the first place.
I used to think I needed to be easier to understand. More polished. More… palatable.
Turns out, that version of me wasn’t very interesting and it definitely wasn’t profitable.
Now I build a life and a business that actually fits me.
Outside of work, I’m usually:
chasing a new idea
planning my next move
or convincing myself I don’t need another coffee (I do)
I like people who are honest, a little intense, and not trying to be for everyone.
I wasn’t allowed to wear dark nail polish because it didn’t glorify god. The Harry Potter books I was gifted were burned on our family BBQ grill in front of me.
I read the Bible. I tried to understand. But I never felt connected to any of it.
Eventually I stopped going to church and got rid of my Bibles. For a long time, I didn’t look for anything else.
Then one day my TikTok feed started showing me tarot readers. Instead of being scared, I got curious.
What is it about this that was so bad it had to be forbidden?
So I started learning. Tarot. Crystals. Candle magic. Podcasts. Books. Rabbit holes.
And the more I learned, the more I realized something simple:
I didn’t need someone else to tell me what to believe.
I just needed to be curious enough to figure it out myself.
That curiosity — that one bite of the forbidden fruit — changed everything.
Now I build websites for people who are in that same place.
People who are done trying to fit into something that was never meant for them.
People who are ready to be seen as they actually are.
